The aim is to allow those travelling to Australia or New Zealand a short time to visit another country whilst on their way to or from Australia or New Zealand, without having to incur the cost of moving up an area to do so.

This is the stopover allowance of 3 days per trip, that can be taken on either the outward or homeward leg of the journey or split between both.

If the stopover(s) you have planned slightly exceed this allowances - please contact us.

Residents of Great Britain and Northern Ireland may use this insurance to visit The Isle of Man or The Channel Islands (both of which are not officially part of the United Kingdom). And, the same applies to residents of The Isle of Man and Channel Islands visiting mainland UK, though insurance is cheaper for them as is Tax Free. For all these residents, this insurance is needed to visit the Republic of Ireland as a separate European country.
Normally residents of UK or the Isle of Man or Channel Islands should take out travel insurance for a trip before departure from home. However, if you are one of these, and are working temporarily in, or visiting, the Republic of Ireland without travel insurance, and need travel insurance for a trip elsewhere worldwide departing from the Republic of Ireland, it may be difficult to get insured (unless you return home first). Therefore, please contact us before taking out this insurance, and we may be able to help.
